Teen Anxiety and Depression

Posted On Thursday December 02, 2021

Are you concerned your tween/teenager may be struggling with anxiety or depression? It is sometimes hard to know and often overlooked. When daily functioning and mood concerns are becoming a regular part of your teen’s life, perhaps it is time to be curious about their mental health.

In this one-and-a-half-hour session, SD73 Mental Health Clinicians will discuss anxiety and depression basics with a focus on how they present in teenagers. Starting with a basic understanding of anxiety and depression, the focus will then shift to effective ways to provide assistance and some tools your teen may try. There will be opportunity to ask questions, as well as help navigating community resources for support.

Presented by Mental Health Clinicians Jocelyn Campbell and Jenna Ewert

The workshop will be held via Zoom on Thursday, January 20, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. If you are interested in attending, you are asked to register here, and you will be provided with the link to the meeting.
